We not so cina people.

Last Tuesday was mooncake festival. So we few cute little chinese people decided to gather up to play with fire and burn a few lanterns and candles.
It was sorta a last minute thingy.



The pretty lantern and the perfect moon.

We were all busy yakking and yakking and more yakking when suddenly someone popped up the question asking how did the mooncake festival came about.
' It is about two lovers or something like that.'
Someone said.
And being the kepo me.. I thought I knew the story.. so I excitedly shouted

'oh oh! I know I know!'

'errrkkk.. I think......erkkk..'


suddenly I realised that I don't know anything. -.-"
Aiyar.. we all failed as Chinese people la.. betul betul memalu-fying kan.. tsk tsk..
We all not Cina enough laaaarrr..
Can't speak a chinese dialact is bad enough and now we don't even know our own traditional festival!!!The only thing we know about mooncake festival is
  • To light up lanterns
  • To burn lanterns
  • To eat mooncakes
  • To light up candles
  • And the moon is a full moon
  • To cause massive pollution due to open burning
  • And last but no least. make alot of noise and wake the whole neighbouthood up.
